On May 9, Tampa Bay Buccaneer linebackers Ryan Nece and Shelton Quarles crowned the Top 50 Moms in the Bay area. Now, they're looking for Dad.
Nece and Quarles have teamed up with All Pro Dad to uncover the Top 50 Dads in the Bay area. The program is similar to the one run by Nece and Quarles in early May that honored worthy Tampa area mothers prior to Mother's Day.
Children, wives and friends of exceptional Dads are encouraged to nominate them at Buccaneers.com for "Father of the Year" honors. The Top 50 Dads, as determined by Nece and Quarles, will then be invited to a special lunch at Raymond James Stadium on Thursday, June 17, where Nece and Quarles will present prizes to three special dads.
The two runners-up will each receive two front row tickets to a Buccaneers game, while the overall winner will receive two tickets and have his picture taken with Nece and Quarles on the field prior to the game.
All Pro Dad is a program of Family First. It is designed to increase public awareness about the importance of being a good father and to provide the resources that will enable men to become better dads. Any father in the Greater Tampa Bay Area is eligible for the Top 50 Dads.
