TB-BUF Inactives: Alexander Cleared to Play

A week after getting LB Lavonte David back on the field, the Buccaneers' defense now welcomes back LB Kwon Alexander from a month-long absence

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week Seven contest at New Era Field in Buffalo, New York. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

For the first time since Week Two, the Buccaneers' inactive list does not include starting middle linebacker Kwon Alexander, who has missed a month with a hamstring injury. S Keith Tandy also returns from a two-week absence due to a hip injury.

Leonard Wester will be active for the first time this season and will serve as the reserve swing tackle. Caleb Benenoch had filled that role for the first five games but he did make the trip to Buffalo due to illness.

Buffalo will play without two injured starters: tight end Charles Clay and linebacker Ramon Humber.
