TB-NO Inactives: Grimes Out Again

The Buccaneers' defense will be without CB Brent Grimes for a second straight week due to a shoulder injury, but CB Robert McClain has returned from a one-game absence

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week Nine contest at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers continue to have weekly changes in the availability of players in their secondary. Starting cornerback Brent Grimes is out for a second straight week due to a shoulder injury but the two defensive backs who have missed time while in the concussion protocol – cornerback Robert McClain and safety Josh Robinson – have been cleared to play and are active on Sunday. Five other Buccaneers who were listed as questionable on Friday's injury report – Robert Ayers, Chris Baker, Kendell Beckwith, Adam Humphries and Jameis Winston – are all active for Sunday's game.

The Saints have just one player out due to injury: starting right guard Larry Warford.
