Over the course of the past few days, the NFL Network has been airing video segments titled "Rookie Confessional", where draft picks answer a handful of questions about the upcoming season. So far, Jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Leonard Williams and Amari Cooper have been featured.
One of the questions Winston was asked was, "Which player are you most looking forward to playing against this year?"
"The player I'm most looking forward to playing against probably has to be J.J. Watt," Winston said. "We play them Week 3 in Houston I believe. It's going to be a fun matchup."
Watt is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, coming off perhaps the best season of his career. It shouldn't come as a surprise, though, that Winston's looking forward to playing against him. Watt has established himself as one of the best in the league at what he does, and any competitor is going to relish an opportunity to measure themselves against the best.
Winston was asked several other questions, one being his statistical goal for the 2015 season.
"I just like winning," Winston said. "That's my statistical goal. I can't give you stats but the one thing that I do know – I love winning. Everyone does, right?"
