After a standout performance against the Falcons, Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has been named the FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 1. Winston completed 23 of 32 passes for 281 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Buccaneers to victory, 31-24. He finished the game with a passer rating of 122.6, which was the third-highest of any quarterback in the league.

Each of Winston's four touchdown passes were caught by different receivers, and he found eight different pass-catchers throughout the game.

It's the second award that Winston has won for his performance against the Falcons after he was named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday.

In his two NFL seasons, Winston has been nominated for several fan-voted awards, including the 2015 Rookie of the Year award. He has won every award that he's been nominated for.

Also nominated for the award were Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford and New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees.
