Last Sunday, Bobby Rainey broke the Bucs record for the longest run from scrimmage. Here's a look at the five longest runs in Bucs history.
On December 23, 1995 against the Detroit Lions, Jerry Ellison took off on a 75-yard run that, at the time, was tied for the longest run in Bucs history.
We mentioned that Ellison tied the record with his 75-yard run in 1995. The man he tied was James Wilder. On November 6, 1983, James Wilder ran for a 75-yard touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings. We gave the tiebreaker to Wilder since his run ended with a touchdown.

November 7, 2004 - Michael Pittman takes off on a 78-yard TD run against the Kansas City Chiefs, breaking Warrick Dunn's record for longest run as a Buccaneer.
A name no one would have imagined seeing on this list before the season began...because he wasn't on the roster. Bobby Rainey has made the most of his opportunity with the Bucs so far in 2013, including breaking Warrick Dunn's record for longest run as a Buccaneer last Sunday, December 8, against the Bills with his 80-yard TD run on the second play of the game.
