Week 3 marked the second time in McLaughlin's career that he's recorded at least five field goals in a game, joining Dec. 17, 2022. It also represented his fourth career game with two makes from at least 50 yards out.
In Week 4 vs. Philadelphia, McLaughlin went 3-for-3 on field goal tries on the day, converting from 42, 58, and 65 yards out. McLaughlin's 65-yard field goal as time expired in the second quarter established a new Buccaneers franchise record for the longest made field goal, and was tied for the second-longest made field goal in NFL history. It marked the longest outdoor field goal make in NFL history.
With his performance in Week 4, McLaughlin became just the fourth player in NFL history to ever have multiple field goal makes of 58+ yards in the same game, and only the second player ever to accomplish the feat outdoors.
In the Week 5 win at Seattle, McLaughlin converted 3-of-3 field goal attempts, including the 39-yard game-winner.
Through Week 5, McLaughlin ranked second in the NFL in kicking points (47) and tied for third in made field goals (12).

As of Week 13, McLaughlin was the fourth kicker since 2000 – and the first since Dallas' Brandon Aubrey in 2023 – to have at least nine attempts of 50+ yards in a season and record a 100% success rate.

With his performance in Week 15, McLaughlin joined Brandon Aubrey (2023) as the only kickers in the last nine seasons to attempt 10-or-more field goals from 50+ yards and not record a miss.
In Week 16 at Carolina, went 2-for-2 on field goal tries on the day, connecting from 23 and 50 yards out. With his 50-yard field goal, he established an NFL record for the most consecutive made field goals from 50+ yards out without a miss in a single season, converting his 11th straight such kick.
Went 1-for-2 on field goal tries in Week 17 at Miami, converting from 33 yards out. Also added two PAT's on the day for a total of five kicking points.
In the Week 18 win over the Carolina Panthers, went 3-for-4 on field goal tries on the day, converting from 29, 36 and 48 yards out. It marked McLaughlin's fifth game this season with three-or-more made field goal attempts.
With his 10 total kicking points in Week 18, McLaughlin surpassed Ryan Succop (384) for the eighth-most points scored in franchise history.
