Announced on Aug. 30, 2020, that he would forgo his remaining college eligibility and enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

2020: Named to Phil Steele's preseason All‐America first team ... also named to the preseason second team by The Sporting News and to the preseason fourth team by Pick Six Previews ... named to the preseason watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski and Butkus Awards.

2019: Played in every game and started 12 of 13 (all but the USC game, when UW opened with extra defensive back). Earned second‐team All‐Pac‐12, also Phil Steele All‐Pac‐12 second team and Pro Football Focus All‐Pac‐12 honorable mention. One stop vs. Eastern Washington. Led the Huskies with seven tackles, including a sack, vs. California ... two stops in the UW win over Hawai'i ... one tackle vs. USC ... had seven tackles, including half of a TFL, at Stanford ... two tackles, including a nine‐yard sack, at Arizona, after which he was named the Husky coaches' lineman of the week ... made two tackles vs. Oregon ... notched six tackles, including three tackles for loss and two sacks, against Utah ... had seven tackles, including two sacks and four and a half tackles for loss in the win at Oregon State, earning both the UW coaches' defensive player of the week and the Pac‐12 Defensive Lineman of the Week ... one stop at Colorado ... had four tackles, including two‐and‐a‐half for a loss and two sacks, vs. Washington State in the Apple Cup ... named Pac‐12 Defensive Lineman of the Week following the WSU game ... made one stop in the Las Vegas Bowl win over Boise State.
