Appeared in 32 games across three seasons (2020-22) at Eastern Michigan, tallying 156 tackles (34 for loss), 20.5 tackles, seven passes defensed, six forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

His 20.5 career sacks rank second all-time in Eastern Michigan program history while his 34 tackles for loss rank fifth.

Is a member of Eastern Michigan's Ring of Honor.

Became the first player at Eastern Michigan to record double-digit sacks in a single season since 1998.

As a senior in 2022, earned first team All-MAC and MAC Defensive MVP honors after logging 66 tackles (19.5 for loss), 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, two passes defensed and one fumble recovery over 13 games. 

In 2021, received third team All-MAC honors after recording 63 tackles, 6.5 sacks, four passes defensed and three forced fumbles across 13 games.

Appeared in six games in 2020, amassing 27 tackles, 2.0 sacks, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.

Prior to attending Eastern Michigan, Ramirez attended Riverside City College in 2018 and appeared in 12 games for their football team. 

Personal:

Attended Auburndale high School (Auburndale, Fla.), where he played wide receiver, cornerback, safety and linebacker. 

Majored in psychology at Eastern Michigan.
