As a junior (2017), started all 13 games he played in, rushing 261 times for 1,550 yards (5.9 avg.) with 19 touchdowns, along with 14 catches for 187 yards and one touchdown. His 1,550 rushing yards were the eighth-most in a single season in school history. His 19 rushing touchdowns were the fifth-most in the NCAA and the second-most in the Pac-12, while his 20 total touchdowns were the sixth-most in the country and the second-most in the conference.
In his junior season, he was named first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus, second-team All-American by Sports on Earth, third-team All-American by the Associated Press and CollegeSportMadness.com, fourth-team All-American by Phil Steele and honorable mention All-American honors from CollegeFootballNews.com. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection by the league’s coaches, the Associated press, Athlon, Phil Steele, College FootballNews.com and Pro Football Focus.
Led the team in rushing as a sophomore (2016), despite only starting the final six games of the season. Finished the year with 1,082 rushing yards on 177 carries (6.1 avg.), with 12 touchdowns, to go along with 11 catches for 76 yards and one touchdown.

Played in 14 games as a freshman in 2015, leading the team with 987 rushing yards on 153 carries (6.5 avg.), with eight touchdowns, while contributing seven catches for 39 yards and one touchdown.
Joined LenDale White as the only true freshmen to lead USC in rushing and his 987 rushing yards broke Heisman Trophy winner Charles White’s USC freshman season rushing record.
