The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday a new multi-year Pewter Partnership agreement with Florida Orthopaedic Institute, beginning with the 2013 season.  The exclusive relationship positions Florida Orthopaedic Institute as the "official orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians" of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and includes an integrated marketing campaign to be launched later this year.

"The Buccaneers are proud to align with a respected industry leader like Florida Orthopaedic Institute," said Buccaneers Co-Chairman Bryan Glazer. "With its state-of-the-art technology and world-class physicians, Florida Orthopaedic represents excellence in this region and beyond. We're very pleased to enter into this relationship."

Seth Gasser, director of sports medicine at Florida Orthopaedic Institute, is leading the organization's efforts in this partnership.

"Injuries can have a major influence on the outcome of a season and our goal is to minimize the amount of time players miss due to injury," said Dr. Roy Sanders, president and chief medical officer of Florida Orthopaedic Institute. "We are proud to partner with the Buccaneers and look forward to working with their staff to keep players healthy and on the field."
