The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' home game schedule in 2025 includes matchups with the defending league champions, the 2023 Super Bowl runners-up and three teams with new head coaches, and it all starts with a visit by the New York Jets to Raymond James Stadium on September 21.
The Buccaneers will start their season with a pair of road trips to Atlanta and Houston before playing their home opener against the Jets in Week Three. That is not only one of the aforementioned visiting teams with a new head coach in 2025 – Aaron Glenn comes over from Detroit to establish a new culture in New York – but it's also the first meeting with the Jets for Todd Bowles since he became Tampa Bay's head coach in 2022. Bowles was the Jets' head coach from 2015-18.
That starts a stretch of three home games in a four-week span. the Philadelphia Eagles, winners of Super Bowl LIX last February, visit in Week Four and the San Francisco 49ers, who lost Super Bowl LVIII to Kansas City the year before that, follow in Week Six. Here is the Buccaneers' full regular season home slate for 2025:

In addition to the Jets, the Patriots and Saints also have new head coaches in 2025. Mike Vrabel takes over in New England after a seven-year stint in the same position in Tennessee, where he led the Titans to a 54-45 record and three playoff appearances. Vrabel inherits Drake Maye, the third-overall pick in the 2024 draft, and the Patriots have made a concerted effort to build around their young franchise quarterback with such additions as tackles Will Campbell and Morgan Moses, running back TreVeyon Henderson and wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Kellen Moore is the new head coach in New Orleans and he'll have to sort through an uncertain quarterback situation following the sudden retirement of veteran Derek Carr. The candidates are young holdovers Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener, both recent fourth-round draft picks, and Tyler Shough, the team's second-round pick this past April.
The Week 18 season-capper against the visiting Carolina Panthers has yet to be scheduled for a specific kickoff time, but otherwise the Buccaneers will be able to follow a familiar routine throughout their home schedule in 2025. Other than the Week 15 prime-time game against Atlanta on a Thursday night, all of the Bucs' other home games are currently scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET kickoffs.
The Buccaneers' quest for a record-breaking fifth straight NFC South title will likely come down to the last five weeks of the season and will be heavily influenced by the home crowds at Raymond James Stadium. All three of Tampa Bay's home games against their division foes fall during that stretch, with visits from New Orleans, Atlanta and Carolina in Weeks 14, 15 and 18, respectively.
