Extra Points Moved to 15-Yard Line in 2015

NFL owners approve changes to PAT.

Kicker Patrick Murray will be attempting 33-yard extra points in 2015 after Bucs touchdowns. The NFL owners have approved a rule change that will push extra points back to the 15-yard line. Another addition to the PAT rule change is the defense's ability to return a blocked extra point for 2 points. Previously, the play was blown dead after a blocked attempt. Although extra points will be bumped back, two-point conversions will still come from the two-yard line. The defense is also able to score on turnovers on two-point conversion attempts.
