With the 13th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select…well, you already know, don't you? Now know this as well: The Buccaneers' Official Draft Party Presented by Miller Lite, ready to blast off on Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium, just got even better.
By now, every Bucs fan has heard the good news: Tampa Bay swung an extraordinary trade on Sunday night to acquire former New York Jet Darrelle Revis, widely regarded as the best cornerback in the league. That move replaced the mystery of the team's first-round pick with a sure thing for the defense and an even more exciting reason to party for Bucs fans on Thursday night.
Forget about cheering on the newest Buccaneer as he's revealed on television…come to the Official Draft Party and you can welcome Mr. Revis in person. Shortly after completing one of the most dramatic trades in franchise history, the Buccaneers also confirmed this piece of outstanding news for Buc fans: Darrelle Revis will attend Thursday's party.
The VIP guest list doesn't end there. Fans who come to Thursday night's shindig at the stadium will also have the opportunity to interact with the following cornerstone Buccaneer players:
- Mark Barron
- Adrian Clayborn
- Lavonte David
- Josh Freeman
- Dashon Goldson

- Doug Martin
- Gerald McCoy
Including Revis, that's five Pro Bowlers, the two newest starters in Tampa Bay's secondary, three of the NFL's most impactful rookies in 2012, seven NFL first-round picks, the team's most productive pass-rusher in 2011 and the quarterback who plans to lead the whole squad back to playoff glory. While the drama of the NFL Draft's first round plays out on the video walls in the Club Lounge at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay fans will be enjoying the most concentrated amount of Buccaneer star power any party has seen in ages.
