Girls in Football Scholarship

The scholarship is available to female high school football players nationwide who want to pursue a career in sports, have earned a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during their high school academic career and plan to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year college or university.

Girls who play sports become women who lead. Thousands joined the Buccaneers to celebrate She is Football Weekend presented by Jabil, aimed at keeping girls in sports. Through our mission to develop 50,000 female leaders annually, She is Football Weekend included:

- A summit where women connected with local and national business leaders from various industries in intimate mentoring sessions.
- A 5K with proceeds going to local programming to keep girls in sports.
- A market & festival featuring the incredible women driving our small business community.
- A flag tournament with some the best players in the country that are shaping the future of the game

Hosted by Sara Walsh, our sixth session of the Women's Summit for Careers in Football provides insight into what it's like training NFL athletes for peak performance with director of athlete performance Greg Skaggs, director of performance nutrition Stephanie Kolloff O'Neill and assistant strength and conditioning coach Maral Javadifar. The inaugural Tampa Bay Buccaneers Women's Summit for Careers in Football is an ongoing initiative featuring informative master classes with senior coaching staff and club executives who will provide insight into the skills, responsibilities and objectives of a leader in the NFL.
