Buccaneers Activate RB Demps

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have activated running back Jeff Demps from the Exempt/Commissoner’s Permission list and placed tight end Luke Stocker on Injured Reserve.

Team places TE Stocker on Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have activated running back Jeff Demps from the Exempt/Commissoner's Permission list and placed tight end Luke Stocker on Injured Reserve.

Demps (5-7, 191) is in his first season with Tampa Bay, after the team traded for him this offseason. Demps originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the New England Patriots. A native of Okahumpka, Fla., Demps played collegiately at Florida, playing in 51 games, recording 367 rushes for 2,470 yards (6.7 avg.) and 23 touchdowns, while also adding 57 receptions for 481 yards and one touchdown. Demps also returned kicks in college, totaling 21 kick returns for 604 yards and one touchdown.
