BUCCANEERS ANNOUNCE 2018 BILL WALSH COACHING FELLOWS

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the team's 2018 Bill Walsh Coaching Fellows that will be assisting the coaching staff during training camp: Marvin Clecidor, John Johnson and Vae Tata.

Clecidor worked with the Buccaneers during mini-camp in 2017 as part of the Bill Walsh Fellowship. He joined the Princeton Tigers as defensive backs coach in 2017, after two seasons with William & Mary (2015-16) as the Tribe's cornerbacks coach. Before joining William & Mary, Clecidor spent three seasons serving as the secondary coach and director of player development and personnel at Monmouth. He also spent one season as a graduate assistant with Rutgers (2011). Clecidor played collegiately at Lafayette College (2005-09) and began his coaching career at Wilkes University (2009), before moving on to Wagner College (2010).

Johnson spent the past two seasons (2016-17) serving as the running backs coach at South Dakota State. He began his coaching career in 2009, working at Ouachita Baptist University for four seasons (2009-12), coaching the team's running backs for three seasons and the wide receivers for one year, while also overseeing the team's strength and conditioning. He then spent two seasons at Oklahoma Baptist University, working first as wide receivers coach and special teams coordinator before being elevated to offensive coordinator. In 2014, Johnson worked as an offensive graduate assistant at Tulsa, helping coach running backs, before moving on to be the running backs coach at Missouri Southern University. He also spent time as an intern with the Kansas City Chiefs in the summer of 2014

Tata began his coaching career in 2006, working for two seasons as the defensive line coach at McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Following that, he spent two seasons at his alma mater, UCLA, first working as a graduate assistant in 2008 before being elevated to a defensive assistant in 2009. From 2010-11, Tata served as a graduate assistant at San Jose State, before joining Stanford as a defensive assistant for two seasons (2012-13). Tata worked as the head coach at Kahuku High School in Honolulu from 2015-16. He also worked with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011 as part of the Bill Walsh Fellowship. Tata will be working as a defensive intern at Southern California this fall.
