Two of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' three preseason games in 2025 will be played at home, and each one will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday night. The Buccaneers open that warm-up slate with a game against the Tennessee Titans at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 9, then wrap it up back at home against Buffalo on Saturday, August 23.

All three of the Bucs' preseason games will take place on Saturdays, as the middle contest is a trip to Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium to take on the Steelers. That game will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Here is Tampa Bay's 2025 preseason lineup; all three games will once again be broadcast locally by WFLA-TV:

Week Day Date Opponent Time Network
Preseason Week 1 Sat. August 9 TENNESSEE 7:30 p.m. WFLA-TV
Preseason Week 2 Sat. August 16 at Pittsburgh 7:00 p.m. WFLA-TV
Preseason Week 3 Sat. August 23 BUFFALO 7:30 p.m. WFLA-TV

AFC teams will host all of this year's "17th Games" during the regular season, meaning all the NFC teams get eight regular season home games and two preseason home games. That also means that every preseason game across the league has to pit an AFC team against an NFC team.

The Bills have never before played a preseason game in Tampa. Two of the previous four preseason meetings between these two teams were in Buffalo and the other two were held at neutral sites – at Orlando's Florida Citrus Bowl in 1993 and at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville in 1988.

The preseason-capping Buffalo game is also noteworthy in that the Bucs and Bills will meet again a little less than three months later, in Week 11 of the regular season. That game will take place in Buffalo. This marks the first time since a similar double-dip against Washington in 2014 that the Buccaneers will get a preseason look at an opponent they will face later that season. Of course, the lineups for those two games is likely to look drastically different. For instance, Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield did start the team's preseason finale last year, but he was pulled from the game after just one drive and three passes.
