FanDuel Flashback: Week 12

Before Thanksgiving, we wrote, "The Bucs enjoyed their biggest W of the season last week, a 19-17 road upset of the (likely) playoff-bound Kansas City Chiefs." Well, you can scratch that, because last week, the Bucs enjoyed their biggest W of the season, a 14-5 upset of the Seahawks. Naturally, there were a few stand-out FanDuel performances.

TAMPA BAY DEFENSE – D – 19 FDPs

Right before Thanksgiving, we wrote of the Bucs D, "If you can get positive production out of a bargain-priced defense, you'll be able to afford the likes of such high-priced studs as Tom Brady, Le'Veon Bell, and David Johnson. It's those kind of slick moves that help you win FanDuel contests." Six sacks and two interceptions for $4,300 FanDuel bucks is the definition of slick. #NailedIt

MIKE EVANS – WR – 26.4 FDPs

Mike. Evans. Is. A. Beast. Against the vaunted Seahawks D, Evans racked up eight catches for 104 yards and a couple of TDs. He's not unstoppable—nobody is, except for maybe that aforementioned Brady guy—but it's getting to the point where when you're discussing the best receiver in the NFL, he's in the conversation.

VOTE NOW: 2017 Pro BowlCAMERON BRATE – TE – 6.9 FDPs

Seven FanDuel points won't blow anybody's mind (sorry, Cameron, but know that we still love you), but Brate's performance last Sunday was nonetheless notable because, as is usually the case, he caught 80% of his five targets. Admittedly, he's not Gronk, but he's a reliable, sneaky FanDuel play and with those hands of his, should definitely be on your radar.
