The Buccaneer defense got some good news as defensive tackle Vita Vea returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. Vea had missed Wednesday's practice with a groin injury but Coach Arians classified him, and the rest of the players appearing on this week's injury report, as day-to-day. Outside linebacker Devante Bond remained limited and inside linebacker Devin White remains out while he rehabs an MCL sprain.
Offensively, Tampa Bay has a little bit more concern warranted. Going against Aaron Donald and the rest of the Rams' defensive front, the Bucs' offensive line is going to have a big challenge in front of them (literally). That challenge will be magnified if they're without starting center Ryan Jensen, known for his aggressive and gritty play. He sat out for the second straight day on Thursday.
Also missing his second consecutive day is do-it-all wide receiver Chris Godwin. The third-year player has been an offensive work horse, providing quarterback Jameis Winston with a reliable target all over the field.
The status of each player remains to be seen and will be announced on Friday.
