After one half of play, the Falcons lead the Buccaneers, 20-14.

Mike Evans caught two touchdown passes in the first half, bringing his total to eight on the season. He currently leads all NFL wide receivers in touchdown receptions. He caught his first touchdown on the Buccaneers' first possession of the game, capping off an 11-play, 75-yard drive. Evans' second touchdown reception came in the second quarter, leaping over a defender to score from 24 yards out. He has seven catches for 77 yards on the day.

The Buccaneers fumbled twice in the first quarter, and Atlanta was able to capitalize. The Falcons picked up field goals off of each fumble, one coming the end of the first quarter and the other at the start second. Atlanta found the end zone twice, with Levine Toilolo catching a touchdown from Matt Ryan in the first quarter and Taylor Gabriel rushing for a nine-yard score in the second.

With Jacquizz Rodgers inactive, Peyton Barber got the start at running back. He has carried the ball eight times for 24 yards. As a unit, Tampa Bay has rushed for 58 yards. Kwon Alexander leads the Buccaneers in tackles with four, while Gerald McCoy recorded a sack, forcing a fumble in the process. Lavonte David has picked p two tackles for losses.

The Falcons will start the second half on offense.
