The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have released fifth-year G Ken Blackman.

Blackman signed with the Buccaneers as a free agent on November 24, 1999. He was placed on the inactive list for the remaining six regular-season games before moving to injured reserve on January 5 with a knee injury, suffered in 1998 while with the Bengals.

Blackman played three seasons for Cincinnati before being released by the Bengals on 10/26/99. He was drafted by Cincinnati in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft.
