Another week has come and gone, but that didn't stop some major scoring for FanDuel lineups. This week in particular, the quarterback game was strong.
Drew Brees not only had the highest scoring week for owners, but he outscored Eli Manning by almost ten FanDuel points. The New Orleans Saints quarterback tallied 47.54 points and only set you back $7,900. This was a major spike compared to last week's performance when he took on the Indianapolis Colts and only tallied 12.80 points, a 34.74 point increase. He faces the Tennessee Titans in Week 9 and I can only anticipate more confidence with that game.
Eli Manning also had a stellar outing scoring 38 points for owners. The former Super Bowl quarterback had six passing touchdowns and 350 passing yards to put him in the top five overall performances this week and he was also a great buy at $7,800. He faces Tampa Bay next and even though Jameis Winston has shown major strides in his game, Manning could do some damage against that defense.
Speaking of Winston, FanDuel wise, the rookie quarterback has been majorly crush worthy for people looking for a dependable and affordable quarterback. He didn't quite make top 10 for quarterbacks this week, but he did manage to score a respected 19.48 points and stays around the $6K range and will continue to get better.
Another guy worth mentioning is Derek Carr had not only a great outing against the New York Jets this week, but a crazy good season altogether. The second year quarterback for the Oakland Raiders had 29.12 points against the Jets and is still affordable at $6,800. Thanks for four passing touchdowns and 33 passing yards, he finished Sunday as a top five quarterback, I'm somewhat worrisome about him facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9, but he's proved me wrong before.
