Bucs-Seahawks Inactives: Alex Cappa Returns

The Buccaneers' original offensive line is intact again as RG Alex Cappa has returned from a forearm fracture and RT Demar Dotson is active despite his hamstring ailment

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks named their game-day inactives on Sunday at 2:35 p.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week Nine contest at CenturyLink Field. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.

The Buccaneers will be back to their season-opening combination on the offensive line as second-yard guard Alex Cappa is active for the first time since suffering a forearm fracture in Week Five. Cappa moves back into his right guard spot, next to right tackle Demar Dotson, who was limited all week in practice due to a hamstring injury that cost him one game but has been cleared to play on Sunday.

The Buccaneers will be without starting tight end O.J. Howard for the second straight week, however, thanks to his own hamstring strain. Fortunately, fellow tight end Cam Brate was able to overcome the ribs injury that limited him this week and is active for Sunday's contest.

The Seahawks will have to wait another week to get their new safety Quandre Diggs, acquired in a Week Seven trade, into the mix as he remains out with a hamstring injury. Starting left tackle Duane Brown, who was limited during the week by knee and biceps injuries, is good to go.
