Last spring, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed their deep appreciation for both moms and the military with a special version of their popular "Mother's Day Makeover" program, providing a day of pampering and relaxation to 10 special women.  This year, the Buccaneers are taking the same concept and making it even bigger: 50 military moms who go above and beyond for their loved ones will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience from the Buccaneers.

In yet another interesting twist to the program, the Buccaneers will be transforming their state-of-the-art facility into a full-service spa and opening their doors to the chosen mothers, who will enjoy a leisurely makeover including manicures, massages, hair stylings, and professional makeup.  This year, fittingly, the Mother's Day Makeover will be held on Friday, May 10, which happens to be the second annual Military Spouse Appreciation Day in the United States.

If you know of a military mom who deserves this full day of pampering, now is the time to send in your nomination.  In addition to some information regarding the mother's military affiliation and family situation, you will be asked to describe in approximately 1,500 words why your nominee should be chosen to receive a Mother's Day Makeover.

Applications for the Mother's Day Makeover program must be received by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, April 26 and only one nomination per person is allowed.  Nominees must be at least 18 years of age.  Applicants selected as a recipient for further review must execute all waivers and release agreements required by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and nominees may be contacted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at any time in the future. All decisions of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry.
