On Tuesday, November 25, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line and Publix Super Markets will continue an annual tradition with the 19th annual 'Turkey Time with the O-Line,' supported by Publix. Buccaneers' offensive linemen Karsen Barnhart, Graham Barton, Ben Bredeson, Benjamin Chukwuma, Dan Feeney, Luke Goedeke, Luke Haggard, Charlie Heck, Michael Jordan, Elijah Klein, Cody Mauch, Tyler McLellan, Lorenz Metz, Ben Scott and Tristan Wirfs will distribute over 1,000 full Thanksgiving meals funded by the offensive line and Offensive Line Coach Kevin Carberry and Assistant Offensive Line Coach Brian Picucci.
This year's event will take place in the Flag Lot at the AdventHealth Training Center, featuring over 150 volunteers comprised of Buccaneers players, Buccaneers staff, cheerleaders and Captain Fear. On Tuesday, families who have been pre-selected by United Way Suncoast, Hillsborough County Public Schools and local nonprofit organizations will receive a full meal purchased by the Buccaneers' offensive line, with contributions from Publix and TECO Peoples Gas. The meals include one 12–16-pound turkey, stuffing, gravy, au gratin potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn, Hawaiian sweet rolls, yams and pumpkin pie. The families will also receive a reusable shopping bag, foil, pan roaster, and a $5 Publix gift card.
Tuesday's event continues an annual tradition launched in 2007 by the Bucs offensive line to make an impact in the Tampa Bay community throughout the holiday season. Following this year's distribution, the annual effort will have provided more than 15,500 underserved families with Thanksgiving meals.
