The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints named their seven game day inactives on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET, 90 minutes before kickoff of their Week Five matchup at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. NFL teams are required to reduce their active rosters to 46 players for each regular-season game.
The Bucs' inactive list is mostly comprised of injured players. Mason Foster, the team's starting middle linebacker, will miss his third straigh game while QB Josh McCown and DE Larry English are out for a second straight week. With WR Mike Evans out due to a groin injury, Louis Murphy is expected to start for the Buccaneers opposite Vincent Jackson. The Saints will once again be without RB Mark Ingram and FB Erik Lorig. In addition, starting free safety Jairus Byrd suffered a season-ending knee injury in practice this week.
