Buc players spend a day with the children at Metropolitan Ministries during the Family Care Center’s annual celebration

The annual Sneaker Feat party celebrates the opening of the Metropolitan Ministries Family Care Center

On Tuesday, October 9, Tampa Bay Buccaneers G Randall McDaniel, C Jeff Christy, G Cosey Coleman, T DeMarcus Curry, G Russ Hochstein, G Shane Grice, FB Jameel Cook, and DE Ellis Wyms took time on their day off from practice to meet with children and teens who are living at Metropolitan Ministries at the annual Sneaker Feat party. Sneaker Feat is an annual event celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan Ministries Family Care Center, which opened in October 1986.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneer players, who were also accompanied by Buccaneer Alumni Paul Gruber, signed autographs and played interactive games with the children residing at Metropolitan Ministries. The activities included a Buccaneer uniform relay race, the running back challenge, a wide receiver race, the A-Train drill, and the Rumble-Stumble-Fumble obstacle course.
