On Friday, June 19, the Jackson in Action 83 Foundation and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the third annual Youth in Action Camp for more than 150 children ages six to 12 who are members of military families. Hosted at One Buccaneer Place, the free one-day camp will include games and activities on the practice fields, lunch in the team dining room, and encouraging words from three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Vincent Jackson about the challenges of growing up in a military household.

In 2014, Jackson was selected as one of two league finalists for the NFL's prestigious Salute to Service Award presented by USAA. The award acknowledges the best of the NFL in the league's commitment to making a difference in the lives of military service members and their families, through which the receiver's personal initiatives, team charitable efforts, and Jackson In Action 83 Foundation are dedicated.

Friday's Youth in Action Camp is just one of many programs carried out by Jackson and the foundation, including the Salute to Reading program, the "Jackson in Action" Front Row Fans section, a baby shower for military mothers, and a Military Family Home Makeover.
