Buccaneers-Steelers Sept. 22 Injury Report: Vita Vea Will Not Make NFL Debut on Monday

The Buccaneers and Steelers released their final injury report for the week, listing player statuses for their Monday night matchup.

Bucs fans will have to wait to see rookie defensive tackle Vita Vea make his NFL debut as he was listed as out for Monday night's matchup with the Steelers. While he practiced this week in a limited capacity for the first time in seven weeks, he is still progressing toward game-ready form. Defensive tackle Beau Allen was also ruled out for the Buccaneers along with cornerback Marcus Williams. The good news is that both defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and wide receiver Chris Godwin were cleared to play on Monday. This week could also mean the return of cornerback Brent Grimes to the lineup for the first time this season as he is listed as questionable.
