With four minutes to go during Tuesday night's Pro Bowl Flag Football Game, Antoine Winfield Jr. intercepted Bengals' quarterback Joe Burrow to secure the NFC's 66-52 come-from-behind win over the AFC.
Down by eight, the AFC squad was driving down the field with the momentum but Winfield swung the pendulum in the NFC's favor with a pick of Joe Burrow. With 24 seconds left, Eagles' Jalen Hurts connected with Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb for the score. Winfield won defensive MVP honors for his timely interception, while Cowboys' George Pickens snagged offensive MVP. Jerry Rice's team fought their way back from an 18-point deficit with Winfield adding the exclamation mark. The ball bobbled after Ja'Marr Chase could not secure the catch and Winfield made a focused, one-handed grab to put the NFC back on the scoreboard. The Bucs- do-it-all safety once again made a splash play in crunch time.
