Cornerback De'Vante Harris, who appeared in 10 games for the Buccaneers last season, has signed a one-year deal with the team on Friday.

Harris was acquired off waivers from the New Orleans Saints initially during training camp this past preseason. The Buccaneers placed him on Injured Reserve prior to Week One before ultimately waiving then cutting him the following week. He was re-signed after Week Seven to add depth at the corner position and appeared in the Buccaneers' remaining 10 games, registering three passes defensed and a tackle for loss, along with 10 combined tackles, during that span.

He will again provide depth to a cornerback room that includes Vernon Hargreaves, Carlton Davis, Ryan Smith and David Rivers III, with 2018 second-round pick M.J. Stewart likely moving to safety from nickel corner this upcoming season.
